Description
A young male Ruby-throated Hummingbird approaches a red Coral Bean flower from below in a garden park located in Virginia. The hummingbird has to work a bit to get to the nectar payload so it often hovers longer at its target flower. I have another version of this image in my FAA portfolio I called "Feeding Below" that has an artistic filter applied.
