Description
Green Heron dines on small frogs at Huntley Meadows Park Wetland. Small in size, the Green Heron has been know to sometimes use "bait," dropping a feather or small twig on surface of water to lure fish within striking distance. They also will eat frogs, tadpoles and snakes.Huntley Meadows in located in Fairfax County Virginia.
