Welcome to Art Cole's Photography. As a photographer Art has a passion for photographing all types of subject matter, but gravitates towards Nature Photography. He has shot digitally since 2000 and enjoys taking advantage of this dynamic photographic medium and uses degrees in Commercial and Studio Art as a foundation for the images he captures. He also loves to take advantage of the many photographic opportunities that exist in the Washington DC Metro area in which he currently resides. Although he shoots a great deal in the DC area he will from time to time venture out of the region to discover and capture new dynamic images.

Ha! I agree with William! I lived on a lake for 6 years and was constantly attempting to photograph this flighty little bird, but I have yet to accomplish this goal. It's a great achievement to capture this Kingfisher and even greater to actually get a great image!! Congratulations on your success! Beautiful capture!
Art Cole replied:
Thank you, sometimes you get lucky and are at the right place at the right time.
