Description
The VLA astronomical Radio Observatory is located 50 miles west of Sorroco New Mexico on the Plains of San Agustin. The VLA is comprised of 27 radio antennas in a Y-shaped configuration. This is an image of one array taken at night using a long exposure technique in late November 2019 with the Milky Way as a backdrop.
