Description
A yellow Swallowtail butterfly lights upon a branch of a bush filled with purple flowers at McKee-Beshers Wildlife Management Area near Poolsville Maryland. The summer morning light fills the frame with radiant warmth reflected by the Swallowtail.. A variety of filters and software tools were used to give the photograph a painterly appearance.
