Description
A young bald eagle snatches a quick catch of a fish from the Susquehanna River near the Conowingo Dam in Darlington Maryland. Eagles congregate here in the months of November and December and is considered one of the prime spots on the east coast during this time frame to see many bald eagles interacting and fishing on the river, especially when the dam is running.

Congratulations Art on your feature in the Bald Eagle Photography group! Be sure to post your photo embed to the discussions tab as a permanent reminder of your accomplishment! BTW: I've been going to Conowingo Dam myself every year since I retired and I am planning to go later this month on a non-weekend day. It can get pretty crowded at the dam on weekends! Thanks Jeff, I usually try and get to Conowingo a couple times each year. It can be hit or miss but on most occasions I get a few keepers.
