Yes the frog is eaten, I have a shot with just the legs slightly extending out of the Heron's beak before it is completely swallowed.

Amazing capture! That looks like a big frog caught and not too happy to be staring down its captor's throat here! So does the heron really manage to win the battle and gulp that whole thing okay? Does the frog put up a good fight, if eaten does the unlucky prey get swallowed kicking all the way down as well?!

The Heron is just helping the Frog rest it's weary legs from hopping in the wetland all day, or maybe not :)
