Artist's Description
This is a three layer composite image created using images I took of a Bull Moose and the Northern Lights reflecting in the waters of Chena Lake near North Pole Alaska. The Bull Moose was captured on land in Denali National Park Alaska. The lake layer with the Northern Lights was taken just south of Fairbanks five days later. The final layer was a created reflection of the moose.

* Image was awarded a Best in Show Award at the 2022 Claude Moore Photo Expo in Loudon County Virginia.
* Image awarded a first place finish in Other Category of Photo Art for the 2022 Mid Atlantic Photo Visons juried Expo
* Image earned a Peoples Choice Award in Photo Art in the 2022 Mid Atlantic Photo Visions Expo

About Art Cole
Welcome to Art Cole's Photography. As a photographer Art has a passion for photographing all types of subject matter, but gravitates towards Nature Photography. He has shot digitally since 2000 and enjoys taking advantage of the dynamic photographic medium and uses degrees in Commercial and Studio Art as a foundation for the images he captures.
