Reenactors who took part in the 150th anniversary of the battle of Bristoe Station were touring the Battlefield Heritage Park when I ran into them and convinced them to stop for a moment to take this group photo. This park is located in Prince William County Virginia and is the site of the 1863 battle between Union and Confederate forces near a strategic railroad line. It was one of the last battles of this war fought in the county. The battlefield is not far from Manassas where two major battles were fought at the beginning of the Civil War. These were the two battles of Bull Run or Manassas.
