A hawk was hunting frogs and captured a prize from a wetland and then flew to a perch on a broken tree limb to eat. Image was captured at Huntley Meadows Park in Alexandria Virginia. An artistic filter was applied in software to give the image a painterly appearance.

Welcome to Art Cole's Photography. As a photographer Art has a passion for photographing all types of subject matter, but gravitates towards Nature Photography. He has shot digitally since 2000 and enjoys taking advantage of this dynamic photographic medium and uses degrees in Commercial and Studio Art as a foundation for the images he captures. He also loves to take advantage of the many photographic opportunities that exist in the Washington DC Metro area in which he currently resides. Although he shoots a great deal in the DC area he will from time to time venture out of the region to discover and capture new dynamic images.
