Deer are sometimes seen in neighborhoods due to habitat loss and this young deer was part of such an encounter. The deer is looking back at a couple of its herd chums as it walks through my backyard in Woodbridge Virginia.

He also loves to take advantage of the many photographic opportunities that exist in the Washington DC Metro area in which he currently resides.
