Description
Mother Nature flips on the morning light as the sun moves out of some clouds and illuminates the peak area of a wooden fishing pier roof. The pier is located on the Potomac River at Leesylvania State Park in Prince William County Virginia. Leesylvania was the boyhood home of the Revelutionary War Hero Major Henry "Light Horse Harry" Lee.
The roofed in area of the fishing pier is actually in the State of Maryland which claims the Potomac River. Intermittent clouds in the morning sky helped create a vibrant sunrise display filled with orange and gold colors that that was reflected in the Potomac River during a tidal high tide.
