A Green Tree Frog sits attached to a stem of a bush growing in the wetland environment of Huntley Meadows Park Wetland. The green hues of the vegetation background match the the skin tones of the frog so much that it seems as if the frog is emerging from the wetland. I pushed this connection of negative space becoming the positive space in software.The small twig like structure growing from the stem also seems to reflect the toes of the tree frog giving me an even stronger feeling of a wetland metamorphosis.

Welcome to Art Cole's Photography. As a photographer Art has a passion for photographing all types of subject matter, but gravitates towards Nature Photography. He has shot digitally since 2000 and enjoys taking advantage of this dynamic photographic medium and uses degrees in Commercial and Studio Art as a foundation for the images he captures. He also loves to take advantage of the many photographic opportunities that exist in the Washington DC Metro area in which he currently resides.
